Getting started in Street Derby
You don't need to be a hardcore gamer. You create an account, pick a nickname and a club, and the game guides you step by step. Here are the first five steps every fan begins with.
Pick a club and a nickname
Join an existing club or found your own. Without a club you're on your own — with one you get a team, shared tifo and territory.
Play Stopper
The easiest mini-game: stop the match clock at 90:00. Thirty seconds, no complex rules — and you've earned your first coins and training points.
Place your first sticker
Head outside, open the GPS map and claim your turf in the real world. This is the heart of the game — your sticker captures a hex for your club.
Come back tomorrow
Your next login starts your Fanatic streak and grants a bonus. Street Derby rewards consistency, not one-off marathons.
Take your time
FEVER energy for map actions regenerates on its own over time. The higher your fan's Speed, the faster it refills.
Frequently asked questions
Is Street Derby free to play?
Yes. Street Derby is free-to-play — you earn the main currency (SC Coins) simply by playing mini-games, collecting loot and logging in daily. The premium currency (Derby Gold) is entirely optional and only needed for unique items.
Do I have to leave home to play?
You don't have to — mini-games, quizzes and character progression work from the couch. But half the game happens on the GPS map: placing stickers, capturing turf and collecting loot requires stepping outside. The game never records your route — it only checks whether you're close enough to a specific action.
Can I play while driving?
No. Street Derby is designed for fans on foot. The fair-play system detects movement that's too fast, "teleporting" and fake GPS — and blocks map actions in those cases. Only real walks build territory.
How long is a play session?
Short. Most mini-games last from a few dozen seconds to a couple of minutes. The game is built around short, regular sessions — playing a little every day beats one long weekly marathon.
When does it launch, and on which devices?
The launch is planned for Autumn 2026, simultaneously on iOS and Android. Join our Discord to be the first to hear about the release date and playtests.
